Just got my copy of the book ‘Draw Your Own Celtic Designs’ by David James (With Vitor Gonzalez). I was always interested in such geometrical designs. In India, you have something called Rangoli designs (geometrical) that I used to enjoy creating as a child. I got interested in Celtic Knotwork design after seeing it on a beautiful handmade journal by another artist. Both the knotwork as well as the journal were beautiful. Also, the ‘Elvish’ designs in Lord of the Rings seem inspired from Celtic Knotwork and other Celtic designs. And I LOVE anything LOTR. So, it piqued my interest and now I’m excited to try out the designs and create my own which I’ll post here soon! So, stay tuned!
